Bureau of Special Operations (B.S.O.) is responsible for selective enforcement of crime patterns, planning and initiating high-risk search warrant and tactical entries, as well as the deployment of the Precision Firearms Team in coordination with the Crisis Negotiation Team. In addition, B.S.O. is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of Anti-Gang Strike Force throughout Nassau County.
